Sydney Briar is Alive.

This is a tagline that makes me sound more interesting.

Anonymous asked: I know I'm really late, but what were your thoughts on 'Ponty Pool'? It was really scary and they didn't even show that much blood....

I LOVE PONTYPOOL

It is an anti-gore horror. And that is the main reason I love it. So many modern horror movies dispense of thrills and suspense, to provide you with extended scenes of blood and guts, as if blood is truly meant to terrify us..I don’t think so..I’m a grown up, I don’t start screaming when I see blood - I scream, I jump up and down on my seat, I gasp and shout at the screen when I see some actors acting like they’re scared shitless because they know / don’t know the horror that’s around the corner, or on the other end of the phone line, or on the other side of a door. Actors acting can conjure any emotion in me, the only people who would not appreciate Pontypool; who don’t appreciate actors acting - are people with ZERO empathy. It’s these people who need the sight of blood to scare them. This movie was well-written, it had an amazing and intelligent and original story line - it resembles a radioplay, quite fittingly, and it does more for the zombie genre then any other popcorn horror zombie movies I’ve seen in recent years. This movie is a true psychological thriller, of Hitchcockian proportions. FIVE STARS.
