Sydney Briar is Alive.

This is a tagline that makes me sound more interesting.

themainmane asked: Is what a thing? Blackout poetry?

It has a NAME!!?

We used to do that shit in high school, but we also used to fill our school diaries with pictures of Chad Michael Murray.

Is that something people are celebrated for? The ability to make sentences out of a random pages of text.. I’ve seen it on Tumblr before but I pushed it aside like all the other shit that people think is well-rounded, fully-developed artwork - Like a photo with Helvetica text over it. We used to do something like it in English as a form of brainstorming, but there are people who do it as a finished-marketable(!)-product!? It seems to me to be a form of pseudo-creativity, like ‘Oh look at the amazing thing I did - I scribbled out some words until I formed my first coherent sentence and now I’m going to start a blog and post more scribbled out books - My cat thinks it’s a great idea!’. You fucking piece of shit, doodling in a book cannot replace actual artistic ability. And the people who look at you scraps of paper and see ‘ART’ are as deluded as you are. I hope you have a miserable life.

PS. Hi Mainmane, how are you?

  1. themainmane said: I’m not too bad, you? There’s a guy released a book about newspaper blackout poetry a few years back now I think. I think it’s fun to do, but so are coloring books.
